How it works
Four automated processes run behind every page, and a badge carries the result to your own site. No person is involved at any step. Each one is simple on its own. Together they give your audience something they can check and give you something you can show.
1. Identity, then channels
Before anything is published, you pass an automated ID and selfie check with our identity partner. A page that vouched for the wrong person would be worse than no page at all. Your page shows the name on your ID; another name appears only if one of your proved channels already displays it.
Then each channel you list gets a one-time code. Put it in your bio or channel description and press check. On LinkedIn it goes at the very start of your About section, because LinkedIn only shows the public the first line. Our browser opens your public profile, reads the code and saves a dated screenshot for your record. Delete the code once it shows as proved.
Private profile? Make it public for the minute it takes to check, or leave that channel off. A channel we can't read stays off your page.

We never ask for your password, a login code or access to your account.
2. The watch
We search the web for your name, your handles and the usual variations, using the Brave Search index. The platforms you've said you don't use come first, because any account there in your name is an impersonation by definition.
Every candidate is opened in an isolated cloud browser and captured, so there's a record even if the account disappears. An AI model labels each capture as likely impersonation, unclear or dismissed, and writes one sentence saying why. When it isn't sure, it says unclear. On Watch and Team, a likely impersonator asking your audience for money triggers an email to you the same day.
We also recheck every channel on your page, and on Watch we look for newly registered domains that imitate yours.
How often
| Page | Watch | |
|---|---|---|
| Impersonator scan | Quarterly | Weekly |
| Channel recheck | Monthly | Weekly |
| Lookalike domains | No | Monthly |
| Same-day money alerts | No | Yes |
3. The quarterly report
Once a quarter you get a report by email and as a PDF. It lists every check we ran, what we found, the capture for each finding and the platform's reporting link. It says plainly what each finding means and what it doesn't.
We give you the evidence and the link. We don't file reports on your behalf, and we never publish anything about a third-party account.
A finding looks like this
Instagram · instagram.com/samirahal.official Likely impersonation
First seen 2026-09-29. Captured 09:14 UTC. Uses photos from your page. Bio asks followers to deposit crypto for "signals". Report it at the platform's impersonation form.

4. The capsule
You choose a few recent photos, a few minutes of your natural voice and some short videos. Our app fingerprints each file on your own device; the media never leaves it. The fingerprints are combined into one value and timestamped by two independent timestamp authorities under the RFC 3161 standard.
You download an evidence pack with everything needed to check it, including a small open checker that runs on any computer with Python and OpenSSL. We keep a write-once copy of the fingerprints and tokens. We never keep your photos or recordings.
Keep your originals exactly as they are, in two places. The proof works against your unchanged copies.

RESULT: VERIFIED
5. The badge
Every page comes with a live badge for your website and channel art. It links to your page and shows when your channels were last checked. If the page stops being maintained, the badge turns red and says so.
