OnlyHere

Questions and answers

The short version of how OnlyHere works. If your question isn't here, send us a message.

The basics

What is OnlyHere?

One page, at onlyhere.me/yourname, that lists every account you run and the platforms you don't use. When someone isn't sure an account is really you, they check your page. If the account isn't listed, it isn't you.

Around the page, we watch the web for accounts using your name, keep a dated record of what we find, and give you the platform's reporting link.

Who is it for?

Page is for any creator who wants one place their audience can check. Watch is for creators whose name or face is already being borrowed. Team covers five creators for a manager or agency.

How does my audience check an account?

Two ways. They can open your page and look for the account in your list. Or they can use Check an account: paste a link, a handle or an email address, and it says whether that account is on your page.

Does a person look at anything?

No. OnlyHere is fully automated, from the ID check to the reports. Nobody at OnlyHere reads your findings or reviews your page.

Signing up and the ID check

What do I need to sign up?

A card, your passport or national ID, a phone with a camera for the selfie, and the links to the profiles you run. You need to be 18 or over.

Why do you check my ID?

A page that vouched for the wrong person would be worse than no page at all. Your page shows the name on your ID. Another name appears only if one of your proved channels already displays it.

What happens to my ID images?

The check is run by Didit, our identity partner, which stores the images in the EU. As soon as the result reaches us, we tell Didit to delete them. If that request ever fails, Didit deletes them anyway after one month.

We keep the result, the name as printed on the ID, the issuing country and the document type. We don't keep the images or your date of birth.

Will you ever ask for my password?

Never. Proving a channel only needs a code in your public bio. Anyone asking for a password or login code in our name is not us.

Proving your channels

How do I prove a channel?

Each channel you add gets a one-time code, like OH-7F3K-92QD. Put it in that profile's bio or description and press Check. On LinkedIn, put it at the very start of your About section: LinkedIn only shows the public the first line. Our browser opens your public profile, reads the code and saves a dated screenshot for your record. Once the channel shows as proved, take the code out again.

My profile is private. Can I still add it?

Make it public for the minute it takes to check, or leave that channel off. A channel we can't read stays off your page.

How many channels can I list?

Up to 6 on Page and up to 15 on Watch. Team gives each creator up to 15.

What does "proved" mean, exactly?

That on the date shown, you placed a one-time code on that channel and our browser read it from the public profile. We recheck every channel on a schedule, and the stamp on your page shows the last date they were all checked. What we prove lists every claim a page makes, and the claims it doesn't.

The watch

How do you find accounts using my name?

We search the web for your name, your handles and the usual variations, using the Brave Search index. Platforms you've said you don't use come first, because any account there in your name is an impersonation by definition.

Every candidate is opened in an isolated cloud browser and captured, so there's a record even if the account disappears. An AI model labels each capture as likely impersonation, unclear or dismissed, and says why in one sentence. When it isn't sure, it says unclear.

How often do you look?

On Page, every quarter, with your channels rechecked every month. On Watch and Team, every week, with up to 10 searches and 10 new accounts captured each week, and a monthly check for new domains that imitate yours.

Do you take fake accounts down?

No. We find them, capture them, and give you the evidence, the platform's reporting link and text you can paste into the report. We recheck each one on later scans and your quarterly report shows which ones came down. We don't file reports on your behalf, and we never publish anything about another account.

What is a same-day alert?

On Watch and Team, if we find a likely impersonator asking your audience for money, we email you the same day with the account, the reporting link and the text to paste.

What is the capsule?

A dated record of your real face and voice. You choose a few recent photos, a few minutes of your voice and some short videos. Our app fingerprints each file on your own device, and the media never leaves it. The fingerprints are timestamped by two independent timestamp authorities, and you keep an evidence pack that anyone can check.

The badge

What is the badge?

A small image for your website that links to your page and shows when your channels were last checked. It updates itself every time we recheck. If your page stops being maintained, it turns red and says so.

It says your channels were proved on OnlyHere and when. It doesn't say you're verified, certified or trustworthy.

How do I get my badge?

When your page goes live, we email you your own badge code, ready to paste. You can also get it, or download it as an image, from the badge page. Social profiles don't accept embed code, so there you add your page link to your bio instead.

Billing

How much does it cost?

Page is $39 a year or $6.50 a month. Watch is $150 a year or $25 a month. Team is $720 a year or $120 a month for five creators. Paying yearly costs half as much as paying monthly. Prices are in US dollars, plus any tax that applies where you are. Compare plans.

When am I charged?

Your card is saved when you sign up, and nothing is charged until your ID check passes. If the check doesn't pass, you aren't charged at all.

Where do I see my invoices or change my card?

In your dashboard, under Card and invoices. It opens Stripe, our payments provider, where you can update your card, download invoices and cancel.

What happens if I cancel or stop paying?

Your page stays up with a banner showing the date it was last checked, so a dead link never becomes an opening for an impersonator. After 90 days it's replaced by a short notice. Your capsule evidence pack is yours to keep either way.

Privacy

Where is my data kept?

Your account records are stored with Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt, in the EU. We don't hold your photos, voice or video: the capsule keeps fingerprints and timestamp tokens only. The privacy page lists everyone who processes data for us.

How do I reach you?

Through the contact form. We reply by email.
